Lettings Apprentice for busy Uxbridge Agency Required

  • Training provider CROWN VOCATIONAL TRAINING LIMITED
  • Apprenticeship Standard Housing and property management
  • Annual wage £15,000
  • Working week 5 days per week (to include every other Saturday - with a day off in lieu during the week prior to the Sat). 
  • Office hours are 9am to 6pm (Mon to Fri) and 9am to 4pm (Sat).
  • Total hours per week: 48
  • Expected apprenticeship duration 18 months

A fantastic opportunity to join our experienced lettings department. Our successful candidate will be able to learn about all aspects of lettings negotiation and property management from industry experts. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate needs to hold a full UK driving licence with access to their own vehicle.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Our successful candidate will work in our main Uxbridge office 5 days per week (to include every other Saturday - with a day off in lieu during the week prior to the Sat). Office hours are 9 am to 6 pm (Mon to Fri) and 9 am to 4 pm (Sat).

The main functions will be the following, although are not definitive:

  • Registering applicants
  • Managing our database
  • Booking & carrying out property viewings
  • Obtaining regular feedback from viewings
  • Prospecting & door-dropping leaflets in the Uxbridge area
  • Various administrative tasks.
  • Meet & greet, answer phones, handle emails etc 

Desired skills:

  • Able to use IT systems confidently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great ability to communicate with all types of people effectively
  • A good telephone manner
  • Being able to multi-task and organise a busy workload
  • Personal qualities we look for in our team:
  • Confident, driven and ambitious
  • Articulate and able to hold your own in conversations
  • Presentable and approachable
  • An outgoing nature and a real team player

Desired qualifications:

  • Minimum C/4 grade (or equivalent) for Maths and English
  • Preferably, a college education due to the nature of the learning on the programme

Things to consider:

  • You must have a UK driving licence and your own vehicle
  • You need to have Business Use Insurance if successful

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • You will receive excellent on-the-job training from the Lettings Manager and our Consultant.
  • You will also learn from our experienced sales team on any aspects which will be relevant to your job.
  • Your apprenticeship qualification will be a Housing and Property Management Level 3 (A-Level) qualification and this will lead to ARLA Propertymark affiliation once the End Point Assessment is passed with the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH)
  • One hour per day (minimum) must be used for 'off-the-job' training with 20% of your working time spent on your apprenticeship studies.
